An exhibition of collages and large scale drawings based on the floral arrangements of Norman Sparnon, Constance Spry and Yuchiku Fujiwara. Fieldsend uses her stockpile of materials – including books, screen prints, found papers and drawings – built up over the past decade to assemble works dense with particular histories and sensations. In this series of re-makes the act of arrangement and re-arrangement between disparate elements can be compared to the discipline of ikebana, or even to the elaborations of bowerbirds.
